From the loft

Training, tosses, race week, and whatever is worth saying from Liskeard. The loft posts lives and lots on Facebook as they happen.
Six races for the yearlings: three inland, three channel, up to 250 miles. The loft went live on Facebook for the first race from Kingsdown, 54 miles, on 11 April. Then Wincanton, Stonycross, Guernsey, Alençon and Nort-sur-Erdre. The book is under 2026 Races.
After the Final the loft sold the 2025 birds on Facebook. Lots named the ring, the fancier, Hotspot 1–4, Semi-Final, Final and Ace. Starting bid £30, up in £10, highest comment by the close won the lot.
On the auction the loft said Henry & Pete bred the Ace pigeon of that year’s Autumn Challenge. That name goes on the Hall of Fame. The bird’s own ring was not on the posts we could read.
